Privacy

Minimal data, property-isolated intake.

Effective: September 7, 2026.

Community submissions

We collect the submitter email, relationship to the listing, listing facts, source URL, free explanation, consent timestamp, and review status. Approved factual listing information and source links may become public; the submitter email does not.

Sponsor inquiries

We collect name, email, organization, market, model interest, notes, and consent timestamp to evaluate and respond to the inquiry.

Email updates list

If you request updates, we store your email address, chosen city or market, the NearMeFree page where you signed up, and consent timestamps. Inbox confirmation is required before weekly enrollment or reactivating an unsubscribed address. Other markets remain waitlists until coverage opens. We use Resend to deliver email; we do not sell your information or enroll you in another brand’s list. Confirmation and unsubscribe links use random tokens; only their hashes are stored in our database. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Unconfirmed requests are reviewed for removal after 30 days; consent, unsubscribe and suppression records are retained while needed to honor your choices. You may request deletion at any time. Delivery identifiers and suppression records help us honor unsubscribes, bounces and complaints. Temporary hashed request counters limit abuse; expired counters are cleared when another eligible confirmation request is processed. Weekly messages include a body unsubscribe link and mailbox one-click unsubscribe support. The one-click URL necessarily carries a random token to our server, never your email address; we do not log it in application code or analytics. Operational hosting logs may contain that URL. Every weekly message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can request removal via the contact below.

Storage and use

The data is stored in a NearMeFree-specific Cloudflare D1 database controlled by QNTx Labs, LLC. It is used for moderation, verification, corrections, pilot research, and sponsor conversations. Saved community submissions and sponsor inquiries are also sent through Resend to our owner for review and replies. We keep delivery status and an operator resolution note. This does not subscribe you to email updates. It is not mixed with client data or sold as a contact list.

Do not submit private data

Use authoritative public event/resource links. Do not submit private participant lists, health information, information about children, login-protected material, or content you do not have the right to share.

Deletion and corrections

Request deletion or correction at [email protected]. Public listing corrections can also use the submission form.

Location and directions

Choosing directions requests a fresh, high-accuracy location from your browser. Your coordinates are sent directly to the Google Maps or Apple Maps destination you choose. NearMeFree does not store those coordinates or send them to its servers or analytics. If a precise location is unavailable, you can enter a starting address; it is shared only with the selected map provider. Nearby browsing uses your location in the browser.

Site measurement

Outside the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — including the United States — Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) measures visits automatically, and Microsoft Clarity session recording also starts automatically unless you opt out. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization stay off everywhere, including after you accept, because this site runs no ad tags. In the EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google Analytics and Clarity both stay off until you accept them in the privacy panel. When Clarity records a session it uses strict masking, hiding all page text and form input by default. Email confirmation and unsubscribe pages never load Google Analytics, Clarity, or any advertising tag, regardless of any earlier choice. Cloudflare Web Analytics may also load an aggregate, cookieless performance beacon; it does not load automatically while you have Global Privacy Control enabled, and declining in the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland removes it. Global Privacy Control also keeps advertising tags and Clarity off everywhere, though first-party analytics may still measure your visit outside the consent region. A same-origin Cloudflare endpoint reads only the platform-provided country to apply this rule; it is not cached and does not retain IP addresses. Hosting may retain aggregate operational logs needed to deliver and secure the site. Your choice is stored in this browser and can be reviewed or changed anytime through the Privacy choices control in the footer.

Future automation

Any future scraping or feed ingestion must follow the public sourcing methodology, source permissions, and retention requirements. This notice does not authorize indiscriminate collection.
